About Remi Eidson-Rodgers

Interactive experience designer and award-winning educator.

People are capable of more than they believe. My job has always been to build the space where they prove it.

Bio

I tend to stay busy. I've spent more than 20 years in marketing, development and training, helping multimillion-dollar companies build their brands and engage their teams. Along the way I've worked as a professional pirate, a zombie and a Renaissance actor, and spent several years as lead producer on Armada Breakaway, a Second Life server.

These days I lead the award-winning game design program at Atkins High School, where I teach game theory, player psychology and level design. I'm also North Carolina's first Game Design Pathway Lead, and I founded the Camel City Game Jam.

I hold a B.A. in Business, IT Management from Western Governors University and an M.A.T. in Technology Education from NC A&T. Life is a grand adventure, and I live for the moment a student achieves something they thought was impossible.
